Swiss Skydive supports the interests of skydivers vis-à-vis institutions and private individuals so that they can practice their sport in the best possible way.
Swiss Skydive was founded in Bern in 1992 under the name Swiss Skydiving Federation FSV. Swiss Skydive is backed by around 2300 Swiss skydivers. You can find an overview of our concerns and tasks in our mission statement below.
One of the association's declared aims is to continuously improve the quality and safety of skydiving.
Swiss Skydive is the professional association for skydiving in Switzerland. It is affiliated to the aviation umbrella organization Aero Club der Schweiz AeCS, acts as an independent association and represents the interests of Swiss Skydive members.
Swiss Skydive is responsible for all Swiss parachute training courses and offers its members a broad basis for their sport and leisure activity. Directives and regulations govern the training courses and guarantee quality management and thus safety.
Swiss Skydive schools work with qualified experts, instructors, trainers and tandem masters who are inspected and validated annually. Every Swiss Skydive school is regularly audited and then certified.
Swiss Skydive schools use the "Swiss Skydive Quality Certificate" label on their digital and analog communication media.
Swiss Skydive is the interest group for skydivers of all disciplines and is committed to ensuring that active skydivers can practice their sport in Switzerland and abroad. As a non-profit organization at national level, Swiss Skydive is open to all interested parties.
Swiss Skydive adheres to the Swiss Olympic Ethics Charter, which contains nine principles: for healthy, respectful, fair and successful sport.
