aff basic course

Path to a license with an AFF basic course (accompanied freefall)

This training method takes you into freefall from the very first jump - with professional guidance, of course. This training method is suitable for people who want to make rapid progress and appreciate individual support. After just a few jumps, you will feel right at home in freefall. You will need 30 to 40 jumps before you are certified.

Minimum age: 15 years

Procedure:

In the basic course, you will complete several training jumps. You will initially be accompanied by two, and later by one AFF instructor. You will learn how to move safely in freefall and how to control your parachute independently, land safely and pack your parachute correctly. After this first part, you will already have mastered turns and somersaults in freefall. Now you are ready for the next step, the practical training.

conventional basic course

Conventional basic course ("basic ripcord course")

In this course you will learn how to skydive in small steps. To familiarize yourself with jumping from an airplane, a ripcord will automatically open your parachute during your first jumps. During ripcord jumps, you jump out of the plane on your own.

Minimum age: 15 years

Procedure:

You first complete a few zip line jumps. These jumps serve as preparation for the first freefall jumps. During the following training jumps, you will open the parachute independently and gradually increase your freefall duration. At the end of the course, you will have mastered stable freefall and will be able to control, land and fold your parachute independently. Now you are ready for the next step, the practical training.
